Yoga in Santipur College

Yoga is more than just physical exercise—it is a way of life that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. At Santipur College, we believe in holistic education, where academic growth is complemented by physical and mental well-being. Our Yoga initiatives provide students and staff with a space to relax, rejuvenate, and develop focus, discipline, and inner peace.

Objectives

Activities & Initiatives

  1. Regular Yoga Sessions are conducted in the mornings to promote physical and mental well-being.
  2. Sessions are led by trained instructors to ensure proper guidance and safe practice.
  3. The International Day of Yoga (21 June) is celebrated every year with enthusiastic mass participation.
  4. Special sessions on stress management, pranayama, and meditation are organized from time to time.
  5. Wellness Integration: Yoga is meaningfully incorporated into NSS activities, sports, and cultural programs of the college.

  3. Open-air practice sessions are held in the college garden or playground for a refreshing experience.
